T&C: Select offer


Select users of Chillr will earn Rs.25, when the users invited by them complete at least two successful transactions on Chillr.

Offer period:

20th March – 20th April


  1. Chillr – a brand by Backwater Technologies is holding a “Select” offer (here-in-after referred to as “offer”).
  2. This offer is only valid for Select users of Chillr.
  3. The Select users will earn Rs.25, when the users invited by them complete at least two transactions on Chillr.
  4. The invited users must complete two transactions on Chillr within 30 days of activation.
  5. The two successful transactions should include, one outward payment made to a friend & one utility services transaction on Chillr like – DTH, Data-card, BookMyShow or Ola Money wallet recharge or post-paid, electricity and gas bill payment.
  6. Every Select user should successfully invite at least 30 new users on Chillr in 30 days to be considered eligible for the offer.
  7. The offer starts 00:00 hours on 20th March 2017 and ends at 23:59 hours on 20th April 2017.
  8. The cashback will be credited to Select user’s bank account linked on Chillr within 7 business days after the 2nd transaction of the invited user.

Chillr – HDFC Bank Corporate Salary Team contest


  1. Qualifier: Each KCM/CSRM will cash reward equivalent to the number of activations the KCM/CSRM has achieved on Chillr using their employee code subject to qualifying the minimum criteria.
  2. Jackpot: Each KCM/CSRM will earn Rs.15 & Rs.20 per activation on crossing level 1 & level 2 of Jackpot respectively.

  4. Customer who had already downloaded the app won’t be counted as successful activation.
  5. All activations done by the SO/KCSO/anyone reporting directly to a KCM / CSRM will be considered as an activation for the particular KCM / CSRM.

  7. One-third of the total activations from a KCM/CSRM should be through UPI.
  8. Each KCM/CSRM can earn for a maximum of 5000 Chillr activations during the campaign period.
  9. Chillr – a brand by Backwater Technologies is holding a “HDFC Bank KCM-CSRM contest” program (here-in-after referred to as “program”) which is valid throughout India except in the states where prohibited by law.
  10. The program starts on 1st February 2017 at 00:01 Hrs and ends on 31st March 2017 at 23:59 Hrs.
  11. This offer is only for KCMs and CSRMs of HDFC Bank.
  12. All prizes are sponsored by Backwater Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and they would be solely responsible for ensuring that the winners are selected as per the criteria and they receive the mentioned prizes. HDFC Bank is in no way involved in the selection and distribution of the prizes.
  13. HDFC Bank is merely communicating the contest internally through global e-mailers in the mentioned period.
  14. The cash incentive for the offers will be credited to eligible KCM/CSRM’s bank account within 45 working days after the completion of the offer period.
  15. Participating in the program implies that you agree to all Terms & Conditions of the contest. Anybody found using any unfair means will be immediately disqualified.
  16. All applicable taxes including but not limited to income (withholding) tax and any other statutory levy as may be applicable from time to time in relation to the prize shall be borne by the winners. The winners are solely responsible for any other expense related to the acceptance of prizes and Backwater Technologies or its associate companies shall not in any manner be liable or responsible for the same.
  17. The participation in the program  is voluntary. Participation in this program constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions. By participating in this Contest, participant agrees to receive communication(s) from Backwater Technologies and/or its event management company relating to the program  and participant unconditionally agrees not to make any claim or raise any complaint against Backwater Technologies and/or the event management company in this respect.
  18. All winners are subject to verification, including without limitation, verification of eligibility through checks as deemed appropriate by Backwater Technologies and complete compliance with these terms and conditions; Backwater Technologies reserves the right to verify the winner’s details either on its own or through its authorized agency / person and the winner shall provide all necessary assistance in such verification. In exercising this right, Backwater Technologies may ask the winner to provide any documentary or other form of evidence, and if evidence does not establish the same then Backwater Technologies, in its sole discretion, will have the right to disqualify the winner.
  19. Backwater Technologies shall not be responsible for system outages, delays, equipment malfunctions, errors or data loss of any kind, lost or unavailable connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or deleted transmissions or other technological difficulties or any other force majeure event that may prevent a participant from participating in The Contest. Further, Backwater Technologies will not be responsible or liable for: (a) any failure to receive submissions due to transmission failures and other conditions beyond its reasonable control; (b) any late, lost, misrouted, or damaged transmissions or entries or prizes; (c) any computer or communications related malfunctions or failures; (d) any disruptions, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of the Promoter; or (e) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Contest or (f) any delay, damage, non-receipt, lost, and misrouted prizes.
  20. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency regarding any instructions, rules and conditions on any advertising or promotional material relating to the Contest, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail over all such other instructions, rules and conditions.
  21. Backwater Technologies reserves the absolute right to amend the terms and conditions of The Contest or extend The Contest Period or cancel or discontinue The Contest or any part thereof without giving any reasons or prior notice. Backwater Technologies reserves the right to substitute the prizes under this Contest with prizes of equivalent value, at its sole discretion. Contest shall be void, if prohibited by law. In such case, Backwater Technologies shall not be liable to provide any gift(s)/ prize(s) or compensation to the winner on any account.
  22. By entering The program , the participant agrees that Backwater Technologies shall not be liable for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with The program  or with the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize (except any liability which may not be excluded under applicable law).
  23. Decision of Backwater Technologies in relation to The program  and matter incidental thereto shall be final and binding on the customer. Dispute if any respect of The Contest should be sent in writing to 41/3197, Fourth Floor, 41/3197, Fourth Floor, Bhageeratha Square, Kacheripady, Kochi, Kerala 682018. The existence of dispute, if any, shall not constitute a claim against Backwater Technologies. Any and all disputes, controversies and conflicts (“Disputes”) arising out of The Contest shall be referred to a sole Arbitrator to be appointed by the director of Backwater Technologies in accordance with the Arbitration and the Conciliation Act, 1996. The place of arbitration shall be Kochi and the language used in arbitral proceeding shall be English. Subject to the dispute resolution procedure as set out herein above, the courts at Kochi shall have the exclusive jurisdiction in respect of all the subject matter with relation to The Contest.
  24. The winner(s) of the program  shall be liable to bear any tax, which may liable to be paid in respect of the Prize. Backwater Technologies shall not be liable for payment of any tax on the Prize.

4. Customer Offer

Important Notice

  • Branch to receive Incentive After downloading Chillr, Customer needs to transact at least one transaction using Chillr. In this instance, only 1 Active activation will be counted.
  • The incentive would be awarded to the Branches/Zone/NBGs for the celebration of their success. The amount of incentive is to be used for joint celebration by all staff members, reflecting the team spirit to its maximum.

Terms and Conditions

  • This offer is only valid for Bank of India employees.
  • Each branch which completes the minimum no. of activations (1stqualifier) will earn the cash reward at Rs. 20 per activation
  • Each branch which completes the minimum no. of activations (2ndqualifier) will earn the cash reward at Rs. 30 per activation
  • Each branch must mention the branch code as the referral code on Chillr app. In case the referral code is not mentioned during activation – the customer will not be considered a successful activation in the campaign

How to generate MPIN for HDFC Bank users

An HDFC Bank customer can generate MPIN from HDFC Bank MobileBanking or NetBanking.

Log in to HDFC Bank NetBanking from here. Open ‘Accounts‘ section and select ‘Requests

Step 1: Click on “Generate MPIN”.7

Step 2: Select the account for which you want to generate MPIN.8

How to generate MPIN for Saraswat Bank users

To generate MPIn for your Saraswat Bank account, customer st needs to register for Saraswat Bank MobileBanking (Go-Mo app). You can register for MobileBanking either from NetBanking or from Saraswat Bank ATM.


From Saraswat Bank NetBanking:

Step 1: Login to Saraswat Bank NetBanking and go to “MobileBanking registration” option.


Step 2: Enter your registered mobile number with the bank. Set a 4 digit Login PIN & transaction PIN.

Use your Login PIN on Chillr to complete transactions on Chillr.



From Saraswat Bank ATM

Step 1: Swipe your debit card.

Step 2: Select a language.

Step 3: Enter your ATM PIN and press YES.

Step 4: Select MobileBanking Registration option.

Step 5: Enter your 10 digit mobile number.

Step 6: Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number.

Step 7: Set a 4 digit ‘IMPS Registration Login PIN’.

Note: Use your ‘IPMS Login PIN’ as MPIN on Chillr to complete transactions.

Step 8: Set a 4 digit Transaction PIN.

How to generate MPIN for Bharat Bank users

Bharat Bank customers need to complete following simple steps to generate MPIN.


Step 1: Download Chillr by visiting Google PlayStore/App Store/Windows Store – https://chillr.in/get

Step 2: Open Chillr & enter your mobile number, name and email id.

Step 3: Select “Bharat Bank” as your bank.

Bharat Bank personnel will contact you within 24 hours to complete MobileBanking registration. After the confirmation, your MMID & MPIN will be generated and shared with you.

How to generate MPIN for PMC Bank users

PMC Bank customers need MPIN to get started on Chillr. If you are not registered for PMC Bank MobileBanking , then you can complete following simple steps to generate MPIN.

A) Register for MobileBanking

User can visit nearest PMC Bank ATM and register for MobileBanking


He can submit a duly filled e-banking form to PMC Bank home branch and register for MobileBanking.

On successful registration, you will receive your MPIN & MMID on his registered mobile number.

B) Change MPIN

After registering for MobileBanking, it is mandatory for you to change your MPIN. It can be changed either by sending an SMS or from the MobileBanking app.

Send SMS [OPIN] space [OLD MPIN] space [NEW MPIN] to 9773251313 from your registered mobile number.

How to generate TPIN for Greater Bank users

To generate MPIN all you need to do is register for Greater Bank MobileBanking;

Step 1: Contact your home branch of  Greater Bank register for MobileBanking. One successful registration, you will receive your TPIN via SMS.
